About us:

The Canadian Academy of Sports Nutrition (CAASN) is a Canadian academic institution. logo FinalIt was founded in Toronto, Canada, in September 2012. The missions of the academy are to promote “clean sports” through advanced sports nutrition, to assist athletes and sports teams to excel at the highest levels, to fight childhood obesity and to train, educate and graduate knowledgeable sports nutrition advisors through "advanced sports nutrition certificate program".

Sports nutrition goes far beyond foods and nutrition. It is a blend of the six sciences of medicine, nutrition, exercise, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology. The athletic performance triangle includes “proper training”, “proper eating”, and “proper sleeping”. An optimal athletic performance relies on those three elements, and the lack of any of them would hamper athletic excellence and performance.

We aim to excel at providing our readers, members, and students with a variety of knowledge and information.

Taking sports nutrition to a new level, we maintain a “competitive edge” in the industry by providing unique and practical guidance. We take pride in ourselves on having the “World`s Most Comprehensive Website in Sports Nutrition”.

The Canadian Academy of Sports Nutrition is dedicated to facilitating genuine access to advanced sports nutrition for athletes of all levels and general public. We strive to provide quality services to all of our members, students, and readers.

We abide by the highest ethical standards and conduct ourselves in an honest, professional, and socially responsible manner. We are confident that we can excel together by creating a productive and mutually fulfilling relationship between US and our most important resource, YOU!

Let`s excel together,

Abazar Habibinia, MD, DFN, CSDTT
